Wafa Decors is a boutique wedding design studio for couples who believe a room can hold a memory. This is who we are, and how we work.
Wafa founded the studio after years of watching beautiful weddings feel crowded — every surface decorated, nothing allowed to breathe. She believed elegance came from the opposite instinct: fewer, better things, placed with intention.
What started as floral and tablescape work for a handful of friends grew, quietly and by referral, into a full design studio. Today Wafa Decors styles weddings across Chicago and destinations nationwide, but the founding belief hasn't changed. A wedding should feel like the couple — refined, warm, and unmistakably theirs — not like a catalogue of the season's trends.
We still take on a deliberately small number of weddings each year. It is the only way to design at the level of detail our couples deserve.
We design for how a room feels the moment you walk in — the light, the scale, the quiet. Decoration is only ever in service of that feeling.
The most expensive-feeling rooms are the most considered, not the most crowded. We edit relentlessly toward calm, cohesive elegance.
Your palette, your story, your venue lead the design. We never reuse a concept — each wedding is built from a blank page.
We begin by listening. Before a single flower or fabric is chosen, we want to understand the two of you — how you want the day to feel, the moments that matter most, the details that carry meaning.
From there we build a bespoke concept: palette, materials, florals, lighting, and structure, presented as one coherent vision so you can see the whole wedding before it exists. Throughout planning we stay close and calm, coordinating with your venue and planner, refining as your ideas settle.
On the day itself, our install team arrives early and works quietly, so that by the time doors open, the room is simply, completely ready — and you are free to be present in it.
"I design the room so that, for one evening, everything around you agrees with how you feel. That is the whole job — and I love it as much now as I did on the first wedding."
Share your date and vision, and we'll arrange a private consultation to explore whether we're the right studio for your day.
